Saddle Creek is pleased to announce 4 vinyl releases for Record Store Day 2012. Cursive’s Burst and Bloom EP is back on 12″ vinyl for the first time in years, along with 7″ previews of our Summer releases from Icky Blossoms, The Mynabirds, and PUJOL. All of the records include codes for MP3 download. Grab them in independent record stores on April 21!

Saddle Creek is excited to announce the signing of Icky Blossoms. The band features Tilly and the Wall’s Derek Pressnall, filmmaker/musician Nik Fackler, and vocalist Sarah Bohling.

Icky Blossoms bloomed from the blizzards of 2011 in Omaha, NE. The band draws from old friendships, rhythmic experiments and a love for robust melodies to create music stretching from hazy pop to pulsing dance. Music that feels familiar yet so unfamiliar, like the sun heating your face, old haunts or falling in love. Check out two tracks from Icky Blossoms now on their Facebook page.
